Restrooms and Concessions at Duck Samford Park Reopen after Significant Improvements

September 28 2026

Following significant renovations to improve functionality, accessibility, and the overall visitor experience, Auburn Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the reopening of the restrooms and concession stand at Duck Samford Park.

The months-long project expanded the existing restrooms to double their original capacity and included completing repairs to the existing plumbing infrastructure. The concession stand was also completely renovated and enlarged, providing additional space and improving operational efficiency.

Accessibility improvements were also an important part of the project. New ADA-compliant walkways were installed to provide safer, more convenient access to the facilities for all visitors. Additional amenities include infant changing tables in both the men's and women's restrooms, two drinking fountains, and a water-refilling station.

Duck Samford Park includes 10 baseball fields, with the newly-renovated restrooms and concession stand located at 1720 E. University Dr., adjacent to Fields 1-3.

Auburn Parks and Recreation is proud to provide updated, accessible amenities that enhance the experience for residents and visitors enjoying Duck Samford Park.
